i’m not buying

Steve Rubel has a really interesting set of numbers about the buying intent of users on a particular Web site. This goes along with my argument that even if the Facebook demographic is the one you want to reach, advertising on Facebook isn’t going to help you draw in users or sell product because users aren’t on Facebook to buy. In fact, Facebook users rank in at 10 percent commercial intent. The ads get ignored. Check out Rubel’s full post for more about online advertising.
